Ancora una volta, improvvisamente è dicembre...e ci rendiamo conto che con passi da gigante abbiamo iniziato gennaio e in un batter d'occhio, il  2012 è ormai dietro di noi.   Un grande "Grazie" a ciascuno di voi, per l'impatto che ha avuto sulla mia vita quest'anno. Soprattutto per tutte le visite e i commenti che mi avete lasciato, senza di voi il 2012 sarebbe stato molto noioso. TORTA ALLE MELE - APPLE CAKE

Intanto che la torta cuoceva in forno, ho fatto una passeggiata in giardino e ho potuto ammirare questa meravigliosa rosa.

Ed ecco la torta appena sfornata: deliziosa e molto profumata.

SAL GREEN FLIP: FINITO/FINISHED

Il mio primo SAL punto croce portato a termine: bello e colorato. Non ho ancora deciso come utilizzarlo.

In spiaggia - On the beach

E' tempo di montagna e di settimane bianche, sulla neve. In montagna non posso andare, anche se mi piacerebbe tanto. Sono andata in spiaggia, che giornata meravigliosa!

It s time to go to the mountain and skiing. I can't go there, although I would love to. I went to the beach, what a wonderful day!

Una torta speciale - A special cake

Oggi voglio condividere con voi la ricetta della mia torta preferita. Era da un po' di tempo che non la facevo. Oggi è venuta davvero speciale, perchè ho utilizzato una marmellata di arancia speciale, fatta in casa da una persona speciale. Se per caso dovesse leggere questo post, spero che riservi ancora un vasetto per me.

Today I will share with you the recipe of my favorite cake. It was a bit of time that I didn't bake it. Today it came very special, because I used a special orange marmalade, homemade by a special person. If this person should read this post, I hope that a jar is still reserved for me.

 

Allora questi sono gli ingredienti:
100 gr burro
100 gr zucchero
3 tuorli
pizzico di sale
aroma arancia
210 gr farina 00
1 cucchiaino di lievito per dolci
marmellata d'arancia
3 albumi
100 gr mandorle tritate
150 gr zucchero a velo

So these are the ingredients:
100 g butter
100 g sugar
3 egg yolks
pinch of salt
orange flavor
210 gr flour 00
1 teaspoon baking powder
orange marmalade
3 egg whites
100 g ground almonds
150 grams icing sugar

Lavorare il burro con lo zucchero, aggiungere i tuorli, il pizzico di sale e l'aroma arancia. Da ultimo aggiungere la farina setacciata con 1 cucchiaino di livieto per dolci. Formare una palla e lasciarla riposare per 30 minuti in frigorifero.

Cream the butter with the sugar, add egg yolks, a pinch of salt and the orange flavor. Finally add the flour sifted with 1 teaspoon livieto cake. Form a ball and let rest for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

Montare gli albumi a neve ben soda, aggiungere le mandorle tritate e lo zucchero a velo setacciato.

Whisk the egg whites until soft peaks form, add the ground almonds and  sifted icing sugar.

Imburrare uno stampo per crostata. Stendere l'impasto e ricoprirlo con un velo di marmellata di arancia. Ricoprire in modo uniforme con il composto ottenuto con gli albumi montati a neve.

Butter a tart mold. Roll out the dough and cover with a layer of orange marmalade. Cover evenly with the mixture with the egg whites until stiff.

Infornare a 170° per 35 minuti.
Lasciare raffreddare e cospargere con zucchero a velo.

E' la mia torta preferita, davvero deliziosa, provare per credere.

Bake at 170 degrees for 35 minutes.
Let cool and sprinkle with icing sugar.
